According to the news website 'ProPakistani', according to the data shared by Arif Habib Limited, the government is currently charging 32.5 rupees per liter of petroleum development levy on high speed diesel.

It has been informed by Arif Habib Limited on its official Twitter handle that the sales tax rate on high speed diesel has not been changed by the government and its price per liter has also been kept stable. According to the data of Arif Habib Limited, on January 1, 2022, the price of diesel was 141 rupees 62 paise, which has now become 227 rupees 80 paise.

At the beginning of last year, a petrol levy of 17 rupees 13 paise was being charged on one liter of diesel, which has now increased to 32 and a half rupees. In January 2022, dealers margin per liter was Rs 4 13 paise. Now it has also been increased to 7 rupees.
