ISLAMABAD (Daily News 8pm) — At a meeting of the federal cabinet, 54 new medicines' prices were approved for fixing and 20 were approved for lowering their prices.



The private television station "Dunya News" reports that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif presided over the meeting of the Federal Cabinet.


The cabinet also agreed to set prices for 54 new medicines that will be used to treat cancer and other diseases.


The people will feel better as a result of the price reductions for various medications, according to Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel. The people are receiving assistance from the government through efficient means. A top priority is ensuring that medicines are available at all times.
