2 sons avenged journalist father's murder after 31 years



New Delhi (Monitoring Desk) In India, 2 sons avenged the murder of their journalist father after 31 years. According to the Times of India, the slain journalist named Madan Singh was investigating the scandal of a gang blackmailing school and college students and sexually assaulting them in Rajasthan's Ajmer Sharif district.

Swai Singh and other people involved in this scandal tried to kill Madan Singh by firing, but he was seriously injured and reached the hospital where he was being treated. Six accused entered the hospital and shot and killed him. The accused was arrested and produced in court from where he was acquitted in 2012.

At the time of his acquittal, Surya Partab Singh and Dharam Partab Singh, the sons of the slain journalist, decided to take revenge for their father's murder. They had attacked Sawai Singh before but he managed to escape. Yesterday, both of them shot dead Sawa Singh at a tourist spot in Pushkar Tehsil of Ajmer Sharif.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Islam Khan has said that Surya Partab Singh was arrested immediately after the attack on Sawai Singh, but his brother Dharam Partab Singh and an unknown accomplice managed to escape. Eyewitnesses say that Three men barged into Sawai Singh's room at the resort and shot him dead.
